This week Steven Tyler lead singer of the legendary rock band, Aerosmith, was talking with the iconic announcer Howard Stern on his radio show to promote his solo album We're All Somebody From Somewhere whose production has given rise to make stronger rumors in recent years have occurred with respect to the final separation of the group. Therefore Stern could not help but ask Tyler about the subject to which he responded by confirming they will do a farewell tour in 2017 "I love this band, I really do, and I want to silence all thoughts that someone might have about it. we're doing a farewell tour, but only because it is time. we have never done this. " He said jokingly comparing all times bands like The Who and Kiss have toured goodbyes.

He said he has 30 shows patterned to promote his solo album this year "and then in 2017 we will go out with Aerosmith. Maybe we will make a farewell tour. Look, there are only two bands that still have their original members, we and the Stones . I am grateful for it. Well if we do a farewell tour or go to the studio and make a new album, I'm just excited about it. "

Some of the reasons given by Steven Tyler for making a farewell tour have to do with the age of some reasonable members considering that the band is 45 years since its formation "We are actually talking about it, about actually get together in a kind of tour of relaxation which we can call Farewell. I guess it's just age. you know, something will happen. it just is inevitable that some will not be able to do more. "

Although no date or anything that could be organized to inform Tyler still continued to maintain the mystery when asked how much it would take the tour answering "Maybe forever."
