The Strokes, like good bread

It's hard to disappoint with three songs, and even less if they are parts of a band like the Strokes. However, worth writing a few lines about the recent EP of the New York group: Past Present Future.

A somber start out in "Drag Queen" with its post-punk touch, evocations, very relevant to the context referred to by Julian Casablancas in the letter sound of the eighties. It is a great start to the successor Comedown Machine (2013).

Follow "Oblivius", closer to the style of albums like Room On Fire and work close to perfection guitars. The apparent simplicity is exploited to the maximum by these musicians who do not usually disappoint.

Finally, the pearl of the album: "Threat Of Joy" with a catchy riff cadenciosoy culminating with Albert Hammond, Jr. in one of his best moments along the discography of the Strokes.

This group has a sound that we all know, even predictable at times, but it's as good bread is multiplied. It is always desired and satisfactory quality and passion of who makes the miracle.
