Since announcing the release of their new EP Past Present Future, The Strokes has not stopped and now we have the lyric video for one of its new three themes Drag Queen.

While the lyrics of the song is displayed as a subtitle singles in the background of the video we see different futuristic retro animations with clear ochentoso influence (which has always been present in the band but has increased from work of 2013 Comedown Machine) accompanied moments of the traditional signal distortion antenna were in those old cathode ray televisions or those old VHS when they were already beginning to deteriorate.

Additionally on Wednesday gave an incredible performance at the Capitol Theatre in New York where they played three new songs belonging to Future Past Present, Threat of Joy, OBLIVIUS and of course Drag Queen accompanied by their best known hits. The official launch of the EP is scheduled for June 3 in digital and vinyl version of 10 inches that will be distributed by the record label the band 's frontman, Julian Casablancas, Cult Records. Meanwhile you can hear all the EP including the remix of OBLIVIUS made by drummer Fab Moretti through Spotify.
