Six women's voices sing boleros to heartbreak

There are six women, and all have dedicated their powerful voices to interpetar the most varied repertoire of Latin American letters, with a weakness for those related to love and nostalgia nuances. Bolero, with its ability to remove all feelings and passions, was the gérero chosen by these singers serenade to give his life in two concerts to be held this weekend.

Floria Márquez, Ibis Sequeda, Corina Peña, Betsayda Machado, Tona Granado and Nancy Toro are the artists who will share the stage these 4 and 5 June at the Cultural Center BOD in a show titled They are bolero.

In concietos, the piano will be played by Pedro Lopes; Jonathan Gaviria and Daniel Belloso will be in charge of percussion; Jose "Cheo" Rodriguez will be on trumpet; Rodolfo Reyes on tenor saxophone; Omar Herrera on guitar; and David Peña on bass and arrangements. In addition, Asdrubal Cheo Hurtado will have a special guest with an instrument called Cuban Tres.

They are in a universal repertoire bolero genre that organizers say will be interpreted, will walk the audience joy to nostalgia and romance lost love. The function will be Saturday at 5:00 pm and Sunday at 11:30 am.
