Three unconventional and disparate projects together musicians share the stage this Saturday at the Centro Cultural Chacao, Caracas, in a concert that will serve to play live their new subjects and to paint a picture of the new sounds of rock and jazz Venezuela.
The event, which corresponds to the release of the 41 edition of the music magazine Ladosis, will be held from 3:00 pm in the Experimental Hall and will feature a team of artists Wincho Schafer, Joel Martinez and Domingo poster on fire.
Shafer, a founding member of the legendary rock group Dead Feeling, is in full recording a new solo material, coming after separation Atkinson Trio. Former member of bands like Famasloop, South Carabela and PAN (which was last Cayayo Troconis), is residing outside the country and this time give a sample of their new musical experiments.
With a more directed towards jazz orientation, Joel Martinez, trombonist, will present his latest material Looking away, which is already available in digital format. This time he will take the stage accompanied by high-level musicians like Juan Diego Villalobos (vibraphone), Freddy Adrian (bass), Jose "Type" Nunez (drums), Gustavo Medina (guitar), and guests Pablo Gil (saxophone, keyboard ), Erik Chacon (flute, saxophone), Gerald "Chipi" Chacon (trumpet). Previously, Martinez had participated in two other concerts Ladosis, but accompanying the great Gerry Weil and Pancho Montanez.
Sunday Llamas, to the most anticipated event poster will perform live for the first time a selection of songs from the last four albums simultaneously launched through its website late last year. His proposal rock and psychedelia has spread slowly over the past 11 years with a generous discography available in all digital. Saturday's concert is expected to also José Ignacio Benitez (as is actually called the singer) present some new songs.
