On 11 January this year, the official website of the Fundacion Nuevas Bandas, the date for the start of the Festival New bands, which will be from 18 to 24 July at the Chacao Cultural Center, honoring candies announced cyanide. The best rock festival of all Venezuela and the oldest in Latin America, led by the great Felix Allueva. This incredible event was first made in 1991, when at the time was called "1st Show Band Pop Caracas" and has hosted large Venezuelan bands like Public Disorder, Zapato 3, Los Amigos Invisibles, Dermis Tatu, Cyanide Caramels, Candy 66, Viniloversus, Okills, HolySexyBastards, MCKlopedia, The Mints, Innkeepers, and endless talented bands and proudly say that they are of Venezuela.
There are currently about 150 bands registered to participate in the Festival this year, in which only the elected bands will be present during the week of the show, by a team that chooses, noting that each day show will be an important band nationally that will open the event. This year promises to be excellent for the festival with very good emerging musical groups that show their talent on stage Chacao Cultural Center.
New Bands Festival, has given support to those new musical groups to make themselves known and to demonstrate the talent they have each of these. The festival has been a great and good impact on listeners of pop-rock Venezuelan, giving great fame and to expand nationally and not just Caracas, also holding events in cities around the country ... The New Bands Festival (FNB) is made by the Foundation New bands, foundation which is not based only on the festival, but also recreate various activities durantes the year, such as the VRock sessions with tribute to transcendental bands of Venezuelan music, also known "Cambalache disc" which is mainly based on an exchange of music disc which can attend all the desired audience, this activity is carried out in a public square in the city of Caracas organized by the foundation, and an event very interesting are the workshops held on the music, is primarily an aid to those emerging bands that do not yet have the exact starting point as a musical group with managers, production, recordings, presentations, etc ... also noteworthy that the foundation has 2 radio programs called "Rock en Ñ" Pericles led by broadcaster Sanchez, and "Made Here" led by Felix Allueva, both programs can be heard by La Mega Radio circuit Union Station.
