On Sunday May 22 took place in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Billboard Awards 2016. Great event that honors the best of pop music in the world.
Canadian singer The Weeknd, was the winner of the night, by taking 8 awards out of 19 nominations which was participating. While the British star Adele won 5 Awards and became the most important of all night: Artist of the Year. It is a creditable for what has been his career in the last year recognition.
Responsible for opening the event was Britney Spears, showing a spectacular show that made her the star of the night. His presentation lasted 10 minutes and played her best known. The most nostalgic moment was when showtime Madonna and Stevie Wonder arrived. Pop queen wore a purple suit, while Wonder wore a scarf of the same color when they joined the duo playing iconic song Prince, Purple Rain. In homage to the recently deceased artist.
