Gustavo Cerati Adrian was a musician, but not everyone is recognized as one of the most influential and famous musicians Hispanic definitely a rock legend in Latin America.
He earned international fame and recognition for being the vocalist, guitarist and main songwriter of Soda Stereo, also scored success in his solo career, which consists of five studio albums. His path as a soloist began in the early nineties, parallel to the band, due to a break that had taken the group after a crisis. In that instance Cerati released his first solo album, Yellow Love; but with the return of Soda Stereo his solo career was put on hold until the complete dissolution of the band.
After Soda Stereo, Cerati experimented with different styles, from electronic music in '' Plan V '' to symphonic music. Soda Stereo returned in 2007 on a tour called You'll see me again , after which its members resumed their activities separately.
Throughout his solo career he won and was nominated for numerous awards, including Latin Grammy, MTV, Konex and Gardel .In its issue of September 2012, the magazine Rolling Stone placed it in seventh place in the top 100 guitarists Argentine rock.
On May 15, 2010 at the Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, he suffered a cardiovascular accident, which left him in a coma for more than four years, died on September 4, 2014 because of a respiratory arrest in Buenos Aires.
Today, in 2016, they met six years of lamentable fact, 6 years of an accident that made this stop in Venezuela the last concert of the rock legend Argentina.
