The call for the New Bands Festival is open

The Mints, Candy Cyanide, Candy66, La Vida Bohème, HolySexyBastards, Okills, Del Pez, Viniloversus, Child Nuclear, Tomates Fritos, Kung Fu Club, Rawayana, Charliepapa and Lebronch are some of the Venezuelan groups that have been reported in the stage of the New Bands Festival, held annually in Venezuela since 1991.

The event, which currently has the leadership of Felix Allueva, is a platform that supports youth groups and celebrating talent and projects of the new musical.

The call for the 2016 edition is now open, and will remain until next May 20. Those wishing to participate should enter their data in www.cusica.com/nuevasbandas , where all the established requirements, among which are concerned with rock pools (in cualquien genre and style) residenciadas in any state of Venezuela are detailed, with older members and never less own repertoire of 30 minutes.

Subsequently the selection process will be carried through in the Circuits New Bands 2016, to be held in much of the country during the last days of May. From there, the poster New Bands Festival 2016 will be defined.

This festival also sponsors monthly to the VRock sessions, in which musicians from different groups pay tribute to recognized bands of the Venezuelan music scene. The concert will be held at Centro Cultural BOD and the last was dedicated to Zapato 3.
