This November 28, the sixth album of the band Incubus will be 10 years to market and to commemorate this achievement, we recall some of the best songs of "Light Grenades".

The album begins with an environmental theme, with guitars to Pearl Jam combined with instrumentation and with a voice to Faith No More making the issue a great summary of the disc material.

Furthermore the theme "Dig" was something innovative according to what members of the group commented, as never before had done something that sounded like. In fact, it was so different that they decided to label it as a theme of "R & B" to which they added a touch of rock to not stay away both gender disk. The result of this "strategy" ended in an exquisite and soothing for the soul cut.

Then we move to the first single from the CD "Anna-Molly" whose pun referred to the word "annomaly" (anomaly in English). It is a very electric theme tunes marked by the best Incubus style.

"Love Hurts" is a slow song, very quiet style songs "Morning View". Despite the dramatic title, the letter tries to be positive in life, to learn how to bear the pain that love can lead in order to make the listener feel alive and move on.

The central theme of album "Light Grenades" is essentially a tribute to Faith No More. A very fast and staccato theme that according to vocalist Brandon Boyd, encompasses the conceptual meaning of the album: throw ideas to the problems and explode in light creating good intentions and results.

Finalemente "Oil and Water" is a piece that starts very slowly but gradually up the intensity and strength with which the instruments and the voice of Brandon come together to create one of the best songs on this album. It's a song about how hard it is to live with a person with whom you have nothing in common, so the title of the song is a perfectly abreboca letter.

Despite leave some songs out of this post, here you can listen to the whole album so you can have your own opinion about this production that Incubus launched 10 years ago; that with respect to this author, she is one of the best that the group has made.
