The combination of two of rock's most fearless and experimental musicians seems like a no-brainer -- even more so when considering their pedigrees. In 2015, as his band the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger occupied the opening slot for the Primus tour, Sean Lennon got to play with Primus' virtuoso…

The Claypool Lennon Delirium: Two worlds colliding to make psychedelia

Must know well the rules ... to know how to break them . A subtle premise popularized by the lama and adjustable to any parameter Dalai life. Although it is much more fun in the art.
If you are a follower person pop music, in its forms, times and conventional structures, this article may not be for you. If you are more of those who are attracted by the unusual, the psychedelic, space and unorthodox, comprises one while you introduce me grateful for this new band.
Two worlds collided, and what glorious and rare will these two worlds are. Two very disparate strands in their sound, but thanks to empathy and mutual respect banded together to create songs under this free concept and even lysergic making music.
On the one hand, Les Claypool, a virtuoso of the electric bass and the leader ofPrimus, cult band and kick ass specialist with funk, metal, progressive rock and more.
On the other hand, Sean Lennon, son of John and Yoko Ono, singer, instrumentalist and 50% of the project avant-garde folk pop,The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger.
After their respective bands made a successful tour together, Les and Sean felt the connection and empathy needed to make music as peers. They had alreadyjammeadotogether, exchanged recommendations and Sean had flown to his head to Claypool playing a live guitar solo on "Southbound Pachyderm" Primus on anafter party.
"When I heard that Sean had no plans for 2016, we began to think about the idea of making a psychedelic / progressive old school disco. The next thing I knew was staying in my guest house, drinking wine and hitting my batteries , "said Les.
From that point on, both were locked for about six weeks to write and record a total of 10 songs, exchanging instruments and responsibilities to each other, to package them in'Monolith ofPhobos', their debut album release date for this3 June.
While Lennon's admiration for Primus is known and longstanding, Les has also discovered his colleague to a new artistic accomplice: "Sean is a musical mutant. Definitely it reflects their genes, not only the sensitivity of his father, but the abstract and unique perspective of his mother. " In addition, the combo is joined to Paul Baldi live format of Fungi Band and Money Mark (Mark Ramos Nishita), musical producer and close collaborator of the entire discography of the Beastie Boys.
So far, three songs have been revealed 'Monolith of Phobos', to be felt as the approach of its two creators, without fear or prejudice towards the psychedelic, space andvintagerock. That would be my best explanation of their sound, although Sean Lennon is no slouch:
"The gods of Pinot Noir favorably shone down and we conceded a bunch of songs about evil monkeys, outer space and sexual deviance. The Claypool Lennon Delirium will melt your face (subtly) with low frequency oscillations that make the heart throb and guitar squeals interdimensional. We hope to see you soon".
Whatever the explanation easier to digest, as recommended always hear the songs. So now you ravished, now just give play. You're welcome.
