The lead singer of British band The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, joked about the interview with American actor Sean Penn kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, during the first concert of the group in Mexico City. After the first song, Jagger welcomed the concert to 60,000 Mexican fans and immediately made contact with the public to speak in Spanish. Within its anecdotes about their activities in this capital, the interpreter joked about Penn's interview with the leader of the Sinaloa cartel. "Sean Penn came to interview the hotel, but I got away," said the vocalist.
The joke referred the contact Penn and Guzman had in October last year when the capo was a fugitive from justice and whose contents were published by the American magazine "Rolling Stone". Without visiting Mexico since 2006, the Stones gave two concerts at Foro Sol in Mexico City, penultimate stop "Olé Latin America Tour". The tour began in Santiago de Chile and later went through Buenos Aires, Argentina; Montevideo, Uruguay; Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre, Brazil; Lima, Peru, and Bogota, Colombia.
