“Is The Love”: an electronic Reaggae

We must see what is the vocation for music: the Dutch duo Vicetone just introduced the remix of "Is The Love" by Bob Marley, a surprising proposal, which refreshes and resizes Jamaican music.

Let alone respect, because neither is lacking, nor is moral. It is doing what musicians have always done throughout the history of Western music: reinvent and create what created to achieve new sounds.

In the case of "Is The Love" DJs and producers Ruben den Boer and Victor Pool have made a craft, taking the song as a base, and from there have incorporated sounds and effects that update the piece, turning it into another, new. Something that may seem strange, fusing rhythms and sounds, achieves a reaggae who seduces all EDM for its contrasts and unusual energy.

If it is better or worse, it is a discussion of taste. What I do not doubt is that the quality of Vicetone is beyond any doubt with this, his most recent work.
