Japanese artist Yoko Ono, widow of John Lennon, was hospitalized on Friday February 26 at age 83 in a hospital in New York by "strong flu symptoms" and dehydration, said Wednesday his agent, Elliot Mintz, and his son Sean Lennon. "Her doctor thought it would be a good idea that might make him a review," said Mintz, who denied some reports that pointed to that the artist had suffered a stroke and said he probably will leave the medical center soon.

Meanwhile, Sean Lennon, who also rejected the rumor of a stroke, said through his Twitter account that what happened was because his mother was dehydrated. "It was a stroke. Dehydration / fatigue only," said the son of John Lennon. Yoko Ono is the widow of Beatle John Lennon, who was murdered in 1980. Currently, the artist keeps open an exhibition of his works dubbed "Land of Hope" in the Memory and Tolerance Museum in Mexico City, where 19 iconic pieces are collected.
