The Strokes' new album could be released in June

Eighteen years and five albums after starting his musical career in the streets and bars of New York, members of the group of indirock The Strokes are working on what will be his sixth album.

Organizers Governors Ball Music Festival ahead in a press conference with international media that this production could be released by mid of this year, precisely during the development of this musical event. "This is the first batch of new songs in nearly half a decade, is a great opportunity," the director said.

Since late last year he had known that this band has sold over 8 million copies of their albums, was working the production of some of its new issues in Mexico.
