The old passion for making music is something modern. An oxymoron right? But actually it is. Until late in the nineteenth century, both the musicians and the public was interested only listen to the music of his time, and this, simply discarded.
I was not only in the twentieth century, especially and particularly calm the world after the bloody world wars, when the performers began to look to the past, and rescue works and ways of making music before; Thus he was born the so-called historical interpretation.
Discover these archaic sounds, answer the question "how it would have sounded this in the past?" And put years, dates, centuries, eras gave rise to the musical archeology, decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics and breathe the captured music contrails; intuit the instruments from the vessels of the Roman Empire, draw the plans of Renaissance instruments according to the iconography and painting was the job of these artisans. And so. This has been a fascinating and laborious work. The result is that public twenty-first century have before it a practically infinite wealth multiplied the unimaginable, along with acoustic, organic instruments sounds; or sampler instruments.
