Natalia Lafourcade celebrates the triumph of Hasta la Raíz

"I regretted not going. I should have gone!". That was the answer that the Mexican singer Natalia Lafourcade addressed the AP news agency when asked about his absence in the latest show of the Grammy Awards, where the last album of the artist, titled Until the root, was awarded in the category for best Latin rock album, urban or alternative music.

"I was here at home, half aware of everything," Lafourcade, who said that for the time of the announcement took a soup accompanied by their pets said.

The album was awarded the Mexican simultaneously with Dale, urban star of Cuban origin Pitbull. Lafourcade described as "curious" coincidence in this award, especially given how little similar proposals resulting from these two Latin Americans. In fact, he said that does not usually listen to music from Pitbull, but welcomed the award.

Through their social networks, he released Lafourcade, the day after the event, a video shouting with excitement and genuinely grateful to her seguidres.

The artist announced that it is preparing for a strong tour and therefore decided to take two months off. This is not the first time it is awarded to the root: in November last year won five Latin Grammy.
