The Mexican rock group Maná receive next February 10th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said today in a statement. The ceremony will take place at 11.30 am (19.30 GMT) and will be attended by the members of the group, Fher Olvera, Juan Calleros, Alex Gonzalez and Sergio Vallin, who will be also accompanied by musician Carlos Santana and President of the Chamber of Commerce of Hollywood, Leron Gubler.
"As one of Latin America's most popular rock bands, Mana is sure to attract many followers Hollywood for the tribute," he said in a statement the producer of the ceremonies in the Walk of Fame, Ana Martinez. The Mexican band, which in 2015 released his latest album bed afire, use his visit to Los Angeles to act also in the program Jimmy Kimmel.
Formed in Mexico in the 80s, Mana is one of the most popular rock groups in Latin America thanks to albums like Where do the children play? (1992), When Angels Cry (1995) and Love Revolution (2002).
