The alternative rock band, The Smiths, was the inspiration for the American artist, James Franco, who along with his former classmate, Tim O 'Keefe, launched a new project which is called Daddy, which has a musical style very similar to that of the legendary band formed in 1982.

Let Me Get What I Want is the title of the new album of the group created by the multi - talented Franco as a tribute to the famous musical success of the band originally from Manchester. Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want Further , it was released that self Andy Rourke, former bassist of the Smiths, has collaborated in the composition of most of the songs of Daddy.

This is not the first time the actor, director, painter, teacher and poet enter the world of music. In 2011 he published an LP titled Turn In Tup, while the next year launched Motorway.

The ten songs that will be contained in the debut of James Franco are:

I'm a Sword Swallower
Lime Green Dress
Gentle But You Were not
I Am All These Things
Car Ride Home
I Think That I Loved Him
On the Sideline
Graduation Day
You Are Mine
Now I Stand Alone
