The names of Julieta Venegas, Alejandro Sergi (Miranda), Didi Gutman (Brazilian Girls) and Cachorro López (Los Abuelos de la Nada), are familiar in the Latin American music scene, either because they have in common is that all are composers or have worked together.
This time they sat four to gestate the Meteors project, a Latin pop supergroup that Cachorro Lopez is the major culprit. It was Puppy who joined them , because in some way or another has worked with them in different projects as a producer.
So homómino released their debut album containing a total of ten songs from the new wave framed in pop. It took them three weeks to shape the songs. Nothing themes of love, had to get in reflective mood and leave the comfort zone. So each of these composers launched their ideas on the table and naturally this album was made.
Meteors is not intended as a band to turn, though they have scheduled their debut in the 2016 Lollapalooza Argentina, a multitudinous scenario that know understand what is this proposal.
Alignment live is Venegas and Sergi acting as guitar and vocals, while Cub takes the low and with Gutman on synthesizers, execute instruments and invite Ludovica Morell, the drummer Miranda to engage the live sound .
"A meteor is a bright and fleeting event that leaves its impact , " said Sergi Rolling Stone of Argentina, on behalf of the group. "And that's what we want with this to happen."
