The band Zeta advocates for an independent art

Juan Chi Alvarado, Gabriel Duque, Daniel Saud and Juan Penk, members of the Venezuelan band Zeta, were interviewed by the Mexican magazine Gate, where they talked about the significant progress of the independent scene both in Venezuela and Latin America. "The independent scene in Venezuela is a really interesting phenomenon, because we do not have a popular scene because there is , I think, an industry with a large economic lung as compared with a scene like Argentina, Mexico, USA" said lead singer.

The Venezuelan group has 12 years dabbling in this musical field, in a country that has experienced, successful, a large number of independent initiatives. He continued Alvarado: "the popular scene is not so great; so the independent scene is being almost the same size. And the interesting thing is that all kinds of genre. There are bands DIY (Do It Yourself) whatever ".

Zeta is a collective project that has collected information on the DIY scene worldwide, to start up an original proposal that is connected with any type of artistic and cultural expression created in the creation and own self. On the independent art, the spokesman concluded: "We all have the same goal, the same final dream, which is to really be heard and respected independent art, mostly here in Latin America."
