Sabbatical period for Los Mentas

The Venezuelan band Los Mints issued a statement through their social networks in which the temporary separation of the group described as a "sabbatical" after being held for nearly two decades on stage continuous announced.

After 18 years of career, Carlos, The Chicha, John, Drupy and Lucas decided to take time "with the idea of returning older and fatter". The communique states:

"To all friends!

The Mints we will take a sabbatical after nearly 18 years of road, for inspiration with the idea of returning a little older and fatter.

Our infinity to the faithful followers of the band, promoters and producers of events and festivals, nightclubs, sisters road bands, radio stations, family and friends for supporting us unconditionally thanks. To you, infinite thanks.
