THE SURVIVAL OF THE THREE

Album reviewed by:

Five years passed for the three delivered a handful of new songs in studio. After Coliumo Loose (2010), led by Alvaro Henríquez and his accomplice "Titae" band Lindl is presented with an EP titled By Acanga (2015), a sort of side A six tracks and 23 minutes of sound.

Three are held by eminent fame and discography that has positioned itself as the most important band of Chile. It is impossible not sit rummaging about this musical work that stands out well.

Unpretentious, no more than you can design vocalist Alvaro as personality, a composer who always interesting lyrics is removed. This time femicide, religion, disenchantment, love, dark verbiage of a character who takes advantage of the pen is held.

Embittered? It is the first impulse that comes to mind but Alvaro is existential and human reflection. The will becomes dark poetry and sound still fighting in the corridors of rock that built the Three since its inception.

"A club with L'Aguila" is that rock and roll fed Led Zeppelin, Jack White refined and paraphrased by Los Tres. A powerful song of those received with fervor. He had already been heard the controversial "Hey Hey Hey" that raised the faith of his followers to be released as a promotional single.

"Perhaps with whom" is a nice ballad which can not flee while he "Continue until the sun rises" it is sordid in his message and maintains that leivmotiv of the band. It is impossible not to think in the absence of the great Angel Parra on guitar. In all honesty, they knew how to solve his defection in the development of these songs. There is always the question of what would happen if they made one here or there?

The new alignment of the three now is Alvaro Henriquez (vocals, guitar), Roberto Lindl (bass, vocals), Sebastian Cabib (guitar, vocals) and Boris Ramirez (drums) and are turning and it is this quartet coming out to defend issues in concert. It will be released next year what is understood as the B side of this work under the name For Allanga (2016).
