In the mid-90s, in the city of Valencia one of the most important musical bands of the genre Reggae and Ska in Venezuela is formed. and writing your own pages in the books of the musical history of the country a group called "Mata Rica".
Influenced by Jamaican music played by great exponents of Reggae and Ska like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Pato Banton, Los Pericos of Argentina, among others. Mata Rica finds inspiration for his chords, lyrics and fresh melodies that come to captivate the young audience of the time.
It is in 1997 when independently released their debut album called "Rhythm Revolution" contentivo 10 songs full of rhythm and energy such as Bella, World Party, Reggae music, among others. The powerful he got the disc and its multiple presentations with national and international artists allowed to present their music to the point of being signed by the label "Handmade" the renowned singer Ricardo Montaner and there begin a new stage artistic, reissuing the album "Rhythm Revolution" under the signature of the label in 1998.
The album was recorded in the city of Valencia in JVR Studies by Julio Veloz and mastered in Caracas by Ephraim Osuna.
