The musical career of "The Boss" began in late 1960, becoming known for his work with the group The E Streer Band. And over the years with groups such as Steel Mill and Dr. Zoom and The Sonic Boom.
"The Ties That Bind: The river collection" includes the original double album "The River" and the first official release of the album in simple format, as was initially devised, with 10 songs recorded in 1979 as a continuation of the disc "Darkness on the edge of town" but that could never be published.
"The songs lacked the kind of unity and conceptual intensity that I wanted in my music. So we went back to the studio," he said at the time on this album, which contained seven cuts that finally did enter the final list of songs from " The River ", some with letters and different arrangements.
The box will include a CD with models of study recorded between 1979 and 1980 (The River: Outtakes), plus a double DVD with a concert never seen before, and which was officially published in 1980 in Tempe (Arizona, United States) and lasts 2 hours and 40 minutes.
