One of the main stars of the legendary British rock band Pink Floyd (1964-1985), will present a new double album of material recorded live during performances of his The Wall Live Tour, conducted between 2010 and 2013 all over the world.
"These are the same letters, the same music, but I think now provide a more comprehensive view," Waters said in an interview, for whom his iconic wall "shows the effects of dogma in society".
The album was produced by Nigel Godrich, Radiohead member, and will be released on November 20, 2015.
The idea for the album came as a companion to the documentary film Roger Waters: The Wall, which came out last September, where you can see behind racks all successful moments of his musical tour, accumulating more than 200 presentations, with a total public which it exceeded 4 million people.
Roger Waters: The Wall, recreates the live concerts of the tour, with a picture and pristine sound, allowing revive the legendary concert, as is intertwined with the personal story of musician.
Guitarist, co - he directed the film with Sean Evans, creative director of the tour, where Waters played complete the historic double album The Wall, which released along with Pink Floyd in 1979. The shows included a huge screen 150 meters long three stories high and shaped wall, in which all kinds of images were projected, some of them taken from the cult film of Alan Parker's 1982 film that explores the nature of violence and human conflict.
