The iconic band of Venezuelan rock, formed in 1991 by Asier Cazalis (voice), Miguel "El Enano" Gonzalez (guitar), Pavel Tello (bass) and Darío Adames (drums), just released Secret, the first single of its seventh record production "8".
After five years without edit a studio album, Candy Cyanide, undertakes this new work, where they experiment with sounds linked to funk, jazz and electronics, but without abandoning its characteristic rock. All these rhythms are part of the 12 songs found in '8', which was released last August.
It was produced by musician and sound engineer Hector Castillo Venezuelan, who has had collaborations with artists like David Bowie, Roger Waters, and Gustavo Cerati, with Argentine Didi Gutman of Brazilian Girls keyboardist. The album was recorded between the cities of New York, Madrid and Mexico.
In a press conference held at the Hard Rock Cafe Sambil Caracas, they assured its members that it is not any national tour. This time the rock band director Hector Palma joined to offer his followers "a visual show up to any international band," said guitarist, adding that "it is a conceptual tour that is encompassed with our new disk 8 ".
Moreover, Asier Cazalis, he said, "has been a journey of more than 20 years to do this kind of tour, preparing these concerts in advance and that each of the aspects are well thought out and designed ... We are very excited to bring the disk 8 to a live format and, of course, we are keen to play for such a hearing in Venezuela.
