Stockholm based jazz singer, songwriter and guitarist, Marius Billgobenson, has released his new single “Joy.” This is the first time the singer has released an instant smooth jazz classic, sharing his multicultural background with his fans.
It is not the first time, however, that Marius combines his jazz sound with elements of diverse tribal music. “Joy” is a smooth, gospel song with a delicious ensemble of guitar, saxophone, bass and Billgobenson’s recognizable vocals.
Produced by Grammy award winning producer, Paul Brown, “Joy” has ranked Number 1 on the Smooth Jazz Classics Top 50 listener countdown last week. With a musical sound similar to some of the jazz greats like Marvin Gaye and Bill Withers, this is posed to be a classic hit song.
Marius has previously released two albums; his debut, “The Sum of my Pardon” in 2017, and his recent release “The Spirit Love.” His latest album was produced by Chris “Big Dog” Davis and Paul Brown.
“Joy” is available for streaming on Spotify now
