If you haven't heard yet about Gregory Porter, and you are a fan of jazz music, then today is your lucky day! Porter is best known for his third album named "Liquid Spirit." With this album, he deservedly won the Grammy Award in 2014 for the Best Jazz Vocal Album of the year (I personally put this album in the top 5 favorite jazz vocal albums). However, I am here to introduce you his new and latest album produced in 2016.

The album "Take Me To The Alley" is released on 6th of May. Since the release, the album rapidly won the hearts of the fans and still in growth with new people around the world that understand and feel the magic in the voice of Gregory Porter and his band.

The first track on the album is "Holding on" that is released the previous year (2015) as part of the new album by the very famous British electronic duo "Disclosure."

From the album, there is only one track that is released as a single, and that is "Don't Lose Your Steam." This track starts only with the vocals of Gregory Porter and very soon develop a nice groove and flows with precise and tight rhythm accompanied with the beautiful bass line.

One of my favorite ballads from this album is "Insanity." The song has an incredible harmony and lyrics that can touch your soul. I also would recommend the version of "Insanity" feat Lalah Hathaway.

This album is pretty much similar to the previous one (Liquid Spirit) as a sound picture, but according to me, this one has it's own "sparkle" and "magic" sang by the beautiful soft baritone voice of Gregory Porter.

What I truly love and respect about Gregory Porter is his pure messages from the heart that he is giving. There is so much honesty and presence in every word that he is singing; practically he is telling stories and experiences to all people around the world.
