Wow. This is what I have to say about Mac Miller's brand new album "The Divine Feminine". I really really really liked this album for a number of different reasons. Before I get into talking about why I love his latest work, please check out the list of songs in the album:

So many good songs on this album, but I'll save that analysis for another article. Compared some of Mac's previous albums, The Divine Feminine stands apart from all the others. There are two types of music for most artists, that which is commercial and that which is original. Now I'm not saying that albums like Blue Slide Park or Good AM are bad albums, they were huge hits for Mac and arguably some of his most successful albums. However, after listening to the album "Watching Movies with the Sound Off" people are able to notice the creative and more experimental side of Mac Miller's music. I love this type of music, when artists are able to just put out an album that they truly believe in, not because they have to make a certain amount of money. After a successful previous tour, I feel like Mac was able to go back and make something he had a passion for.
The Divine Feminine was the perfect album for mac to release. I really liked how each album in the song fits with the other, they all support the general theme of the album. Love. It's one of those albums that you can listen to all the way through pretty easily. I loved how Mac Miller has continued to experiment with different instrumentals/vocals, it proves that he has so much more to offer to the world. In my next article I will go in depth on some of my favorite songs on the record. Overall a great album, please listen to it!
