The lyric God of raw, gangsta Rap returns with another album win. "HOV" aka "History Of Violence" is another great work from this super-creative and productive artist, who`s lyrics paint such a beautiful picture on a microphone canvas and red button recording plate. If I`m counting right, this is his fifth studio release, checking in with twelve singles, of which you cannot really single out a single story.... Too much singles for ya? Never. Every song is so unique and Ransom keep hitting that ink on his audio diaries perfectly.
Darkness still resides, but that unique feeling you get while under the black magic, is not only sadness, but a special force that drives you to the highest limits of couragment and inspiration towards better things. This Rapper is the 2Pac of now. First, he always delivers. The lyrics are super-powered by his amazing creative energy batteries. And the last, not least, his undying intelligence, that is growing with each single written word is proof that this lyrical visionary is just begining to change the History of Hip Hop and Hostory Of Violence is a great step towards that sky.
