Worship singer Kari Jobe is a singer who is just dripping with the holy spirit. Many of the songs that she sings on her albums are full of the spirit of worship, at least in the contemporary Christian worship genre. Her album seeks to be just that—majestic to the Lord. It certainly is meant to bring Christians and non-christians together to worship the Lord Jesus. Among the strongest tracks are “Holy Spirit” (Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere) and “Forever” where it is proclaimed in the song that forever, Christ is glorified hopefully in every act we do and everything we proclaim. “Lord Over All” proclaims victory over sin for all and liberty in Christ to be saved from eternity away from God for all. We are told to all rise in highest praise in “How Majestic,” from hence comes the title of the album. The beauty (at least to me) of the whole album is that it is live, so if you’re in love with live albums, this is one for you to seriously consider. The smooth pop sound molds beautifully with her voice which rings as a beacon of light amidst this dark world. It is a great way to introduce yourself to God.Majestic
