Diving a bit deeper into her more electronica side, Star Goes Nova releases polyrhythmic epic, "City of Angels".
This futuristic dance tune is filled with varied electronic melodies and chanting vocal harmonies. The different elements of the song seem to weave in and out of each other, creating a complex rhythmic blend. Though primarily an electronic dance song, there are some unique instruments not native to this genre, such as the deep grimy bass that is introduced about three fourths way through the song and the electronic saxophone that seems to have taken over the bridge. The tune sits at roughly five and a half minutes, and during this time, the energy doesn't let up till the very end, when the final drum roll is played, and all the audience is left with is the pulsing static of space.
The video for "City of Angels" features psychedelic light videos and space imagery to help support the mood of the song. Spaceships flying through the universe, as well as breathtaking views of the galaxy and stars litter the visualizer and contribute to the piece's narration of dance rave on a space station.
