Someone That Loves You by HONNE & Izzy Bizu ratifies a necessary element. The surprise nature of love or more importantly love at first sight. Even more so than love, at first sight, would be a love dangling on the line of proper ethics in a society that may deem two individuals passion for one another unfortunate.
Take the music video for Someone That Loves You directed by Malia James for a second. Besides James' trademark vibrant filter of color, the director clearly makes the cross section distinction between a romance doomed from the beginning. Or rather a relationship that may become difficult based on culture traditions and what is expected of the female lead.
Nonetheless, HONNE and Izzy Bizu compliment one another vocally. From 2014 HONNE have crafted a soulful presence within the England electronic dance scene. The duo Andy Clutterbuck and James Hatcher throw all of their energy into production as well as each aspect of the recording process. Someone That Loves You comes from HONNE's official debut album Warm On A Cold Night released in the summer of last year.
HONNE's true testament to this track was finding the exact female singer to fit the production. Izzy Bizu who is only 22 years of age applies her vocals to the Pop and Jazz aspects to songwriting. After singing during an open mic night in 2013, Bizu quickly rose to the radar of major labels. Bizu provides a vulnerable ease yet never falters to provide the just quality needed to give Someone That Loves You the right kick. Towards the end of the track, both male and female vocals interlace to combine forces. Creating a dynamic powerful enough to keep the track going, basically Someone That Loves You deserves to be played on repeat for this reason. Because towards the end of the song and music video you'll be wishing for the exact same kind of love.
