Dirty sound of the underground is forever ever

Well, kids, if you want some rubbish dance sounds in a club, you better do not check it. Forget this name, this article and the true Detroit underground music. Marshall Applewhite is something you definitely do not want to know and explore. But if you are not a stupid kid and you are pretty sophisticated (I’m sure you are) then this man’s heavyweight musical experiments is something you must know. You will love it, trust me.

Marshall Applewhite comes from Detroit. Nuff said. For those who don’t know, Detroit is that dirty special city with a glorious musical legacy in a bunch of different genres. This time we are talking about some obscure underground techno mixed with abstract house acid trippy wicked sh*t. And this poison is about to make you bleed and ejaculate like a little sucker. Welcome to the real cult! No pussies and fakes allowed. Only hard and heavy sounds. Only electronic voodoo making you wanna dance and kill.

Marshall Applewhite is big, scary, charismatic and… well, he’s just chopping your head off with his accurate though rough beats and sludge attitude towards genre called techno. This attitude cannot be ignored. This is not that type of music you can listen to and forget in a few hours or even minutes. This music is raw, dark, trippy and hot. Demonic techno in a basement of a haunted house. You don’t wanna visit that spooky house; you are afraid of the sounds and cults that dwell there. But you’ve got no choice. It was your idea to be a musically sophisticated maniac. Well, meet the real maniac – Marshall Applewhite. He’s got a bunch of releases you will find following the links below.

I am listening to his “Suburban Boredom” at the moment. And this is so raw and true! The tracks are: rough, atmospheric and solid. Dirty techno having sex with post industrial. This is hell of a dance black mess. There is even cover of Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” on this LP. Check it – it’s awesome.

Now you know it – use it wisely!

Cheers!
