Creepy creatures from your nightmares are following you everywhere. Don’t you look out of your window because you will see there someone you do not want to see. Cold nights of waiting and being scared – this is what it is. You stare at this white ceiling and can’t believe this is happening; you can’t believe it’s true. You get up and act like a silent ghost in your own apartment. You try to be as silent as possible so none of those creatures would hear your moves. You go into the kitchen and grab a big shiny knife. It might bring you peace and some safety. But it doesn’t. You hide from your monsters in your apartment and there is no one to help you. No one in this world can save you from them. Well, from yourself. These monsters are you. And you can’t escape that. You plan your private escape from New York but somewhere deep inside of your soul you realize that it won’t work. You will never escape yourself. So this big shiny knife is just a lie. This knife is a lie – it’s time to realize that. These monsters have been changing forms and becoming stronger throughout your whole lifetime. Just like classical John Carpenter’s music is taking new forms and shades. It’s cold, strong and scary. And you can’t do anything about it. This music is a creature living its own life. And so your monsters live their own lives too. Don’t you escape from them. Don’t be silly trying to run. It’s pathetic. Accept yourself and fight those monsters. They are not scary. They are not even serious. It’s all in your head. So put that knife away and go get new John Carpenter’s release. It’s worth it. There is nothing to be afraid of.
