Released on February 15, 2016 the young prodigy from Denver had his album entitled “Ashes.” It was composed, engineered, produced & Mastered by Nicholas Miller AKA Ilenium himself.

For the last number of years, Illenium has been creating a sturdy name for himself in the melodic bass world, gathering millions of clicks and plays on SoundCloud and even Spotify and finally compiling an awesome album. The tracks on “Ashes” fall into two categories: melodic bass and chillstep but the songs are varied yet beautiful.

Even though it’s more of an electronic album, it still has for instance soft and melodious, comes in the form of tracks like “I’ll Be Your Reason,” “With You (feat. Quinn XCII),” and “Without You (ft. SKYLR).” Other tracks, such as “Reverie” and “Fortress,” have stronger beats but still have intense emotions. The album took seven months to write and when asked about the how the album was made and compile, Illenium stated: “I thought maybe I should push it and try to get more. But at the end of the day, when I had these songs sitting there and I listened to them one after the other, these ones just flowed the best and had the most meaning for me. I’m really excited for how many chill tracks are on it. I kind of experimented with non-dance things, just like singer-songwriter stuff.” As this being stated by him, the listeners can assume that the man really has a passion for making and producing high quality music that people can enjoy.

The tracks in the albums are: “Reverie” (feat. King Deco);”Fortress” (feat. Joni Fatora);“With You” (feat. Quinn XCII);”Sleepwalker” (feat. Joni Fatora);”It’s All On U” (feat. Liam O’Donnell); ”Sound Remedy” – Spirals (feat. King Deco); ”Without You” (feat. SKYLR);”Only One” (feat. Nina Sung);”I’ll Be Your Reason”; “Afterlife” (feat. Echos) and two bonus tracks: “Chilled Velvet” by Jester and  “Dirt Monkey” by Bring Forth The Pressure.

All of the tracks in his album are sure-fire incredible and worth listening to, especially when listened to as a full album whether you are travelling or maybe just chilling around the house alone, or partying with your friends and colleagues. These tracks have a way of nestling into the people’s minds and give them visions of brilliant clarities. Listeners can virtually dive into cold waters or get burned by all the emotions in all of the well- written and well-produced tracks

The album “Ashes” maybe named as such because of the burning passion of all the songs included in it.
