Electronic surgery is happiness. Imagine a crazy surgeon operating in an underground laboratory. He’s gonna steal your face and change your brains! Procedures are frightening. He uses electronic music and monotonous samples to change reality around him. Sounds are sharp and cold like steel. Those sounds are tangible and they take a form of a scalpel in the doctor’s hands. He uses synths and magic. This combination is a formula leaving you no chance. The doctor’s name is Alexandre Gand. The lab for his experiments is called “Invasion Planète Recordings” (has ended its activity in 2005). And one of his beautiful monsters goes by the name of Le Syndicat Electronique. Welcome, dear friends. Don’t be scared. At least, just try to.
Alexandre Gand is a mysterious person hiding his face behind the mask. He’s a brutal magician with extremely sophisticated wonders in a form of electro / electronic music. Le Syndicat Electronique no longer exists but the sounds of this electro shamanism will always be echoed in hearts of many underground electronics adepts. Just listen to “599 00…!”, “Ewigkeit” or “Entrevue Misanthropique”! Once you’ve heard the sound it’ll be really hard to forget it. Cold electro of the European Third Wave.
Le Syndicat Electronique has a concept, a sense and a character. Just like its creator. Alexandre’s got strong beliefs and his own vision towards this world, art and politics. And he sticks to it in his art: from the album arts to each and every accord of his works. I think I should write this person some other time. You won’t find lots of info about this man. He lives the way he wants and doesn’t feel like sharing a lot. Why not? Everything we are to know is in musician’s sounds.
