Pitssburgh based singer-songwriter, Parry Adams, recently released her latest album Whiskey Aftermath. Her motto “Music straight. No chaser” resonates in every note of this project.
Adams is a songwriter who writes real, raw and honest lyrics. One of our favorite examples of this off of the album is “How To Be Alone.”
The track opens with an eerie piano instrumental that instantly hooks the listener. It is about accepting loneliness, moving on after a heartbreak and re-learning how to be single and on your own. These empowering messages are ones that will certainly resonate with any audience - we know we did.
The album features other favorites of ours like the title track “Whiskey Aftermath,” “No Sightings,” and “My Name.”
If you need to find us, we’ll be in a dark room listening to this album on repeat.
