Setting the World on Fire

Kenny Chesney  is literally  setting the music  world on fire with his duet with pop icon, Pink. This week's line up of Hot Country songs from Billboard shows the song is topping the country charts at number one, with climbing up the charts in the Top 40 market at number 25. The song is from his new album, Cosmic Hallelujah. The tune was co written by Ross Copperman, Matt Jenkins, and Josh Osborne. The combination of Pink and Chesney's steamy vocal performance depicts a whirlwind L.A. romance, though the two are never seen within the  new video.  Chesney seems to be following the trend of the pop collaboration, with trying to reach a broader audience, and bring his music more mainstream, possibly hitting top 40 markets with his latest duet choice of singing with Pink. Whether Setting The World On Fireburns up both country and pop charts... will be interesting to see.
