I have written very many articles on Nights Amore in the past and I keep coming back to them and how touching their music is. They are an artist to watch out for with beautiful melodies that capture the heart of the human spirit. These could be on any current movie or television series. As the heart beats, this music oozes from it. The sustained strings and the aggressive nature of the opening number, “The Path of Irreversible Scars” is so heart rending. It makes one not want to hold back if they have anything to give.
The music continues in its heart-rending style with the synth-choir driven track in D minor. It gives this depiction of doom and despair. We often feel this at times when our lives are in a lull.
I love the third track’s chordal relationship and the various synthesizer pads on the background. I think this is “When A Child Decides to Die.” It is a very sad track, complete with a child talking about how he’s going to die. It is a sad revelation. The track picks up a hectic tempo toward the end to slow to a single note close. The album has many awesome synthesizer textures that make the music something that one could meditate to.
The album was so enjoyable that I went ahead and purchased the album. If you want some good tracks to jam and work along to or relax to, this collection will pause you and get your senses into check on the sad side and make you see that there is a time to weep and a time to dance. Favorite tracks include the first two and the last one with it’s great dissonances and consonances over the horizon. “Cosmic Echoes Tribute” sees Nights Amore experimenting with otherworldly cinematic textures that are spinning in a perpetual matrix. It is hypnotic in its delivery. “As Love Dies” is in E-flat minor that sounds as though the Judgement Day is now upon us. The love of many waxes cold as the single poly-phonic string textures give way to a fabulous choral backing that add to the anguish that people would be feeling upon listening. The whole collection that is in this set is 50 tunes long and can really hold you. I would recommend buying it and giving it many listens.
