Under One Sky Hits it Out of The Park

I love the three tenor’s blend of sorts and how the different timbres blend into one all throughout the album in question. I also like how we get to hear each of the singers solo. Under One Sky is the album I will be referring to. From the beginning the sonics are unbelievable. The soundscape is a breathtaking but somewhat stock backdrop. Pair this with the magnificent and colorful voices, wow! You’ve got a fantastic scene underway.

My favorite tracks include their versions of “Amazing Grace,” “My Father’s Son,” and “Granada.” The exotic pairing of the songs makes this a delightful collection for listeners of the present and past eras. An album to listen to with wine and dinner for a night in? Sure! A night on the town? I could see this music as the backdrop in the mall or a marketplace of some sort.

It is definitely an album that deserves to be up there in terms of popularity and differentness. Singers and composers of newer easy-listening music would love this album as a reference. The album is essentially a mix of the classical and the contemporary with the haunting studio production with bits of reverb in the back where they need to be making it crisp, clean and very authentic sounding record. Art lives here! It deserves at the very least an eight out of ten. It knocks other records out of the park. Moments of hope, moments of joy, moments of peace and moments of sadness with the twinge of Spanish flair really make this album a stand-up contender for the market.

It becomes an issue of what colors you see when you hear the record. I hear a crisp clean sound like it’s coming off the mountaintops. I can see this too and it’s really great. There is some religious stuff with some of the lesser known classical fare that has been redone for this set. If you ever get a chance to see their stuff live, it will blow you away! I would definitely recommend this album if you’re in the mood for a contemporary classical album that will bring pure delight to your ears.
