This dark room feels everything I’m into. This room knows my feelings and desires; it envelops me with coziness and atmosphere I need. Pre-Spring beauty outside my window is bringing anxiety and sweet anticipation to me. Everything is grey, saturated and meaningful. I think this is life. I am sure this is life, love and happiness. Hands of the Universe full of calmness and kindness; it shares all the beauty of this world with us. Dogs are dancing on a dirty pavement; their eyes are full of witty charm. Grey sky is looking at the two of us; we share the same sky and the same breath. And our hearts are beating to sounds of music maniacs and perverts. We will always be grateful to them for what they do (did, are doing, will do).
One of these maniacs is Mike Cooper. He’s a British artist. Cooper is known as guitarist, electronic musician, composer, singer, sound artist, music historian, video artist and much more. What a person! So. My Special Someone has introduced me to his art recently; and you know I’ve lost my calm because I was like: “Wow! This is it! This is so it!” – I couldn’t believe my ears.
Mike Cooper is the music of atmosphere and soul. Sometimes dark, sometimes mysterious – this music is always full and complete. Cooper’s music is a soundtrack to… well… things. Things surrounding you, emotions and feelings inside you – all this is Cooper’s music. Sounds of Sirens fallen in love. It’s no wonder that Mike also creates music for silent films.
What is his music? Mike Cooper is a pure sex. Psychedelic improvisations, dirty blues guitar, electronica, deep and wet vibes; weird folk and soundtrack for your thoughts and dreams. Cooper is so different, but you always know it’s him when you hear another song or tune.
