This Portland, Oregon native is throwing a mass of stones at the ocean. Let me explain that meaning, Grace Mitchell in the midst of all the Indie darlings coming out of the woodwork in the last five years tend to fall to the wayside. However, Mitchell has that vocal range where Alternative/Rock/Indie/Pop or even Punk would benefit. At the tender young age of nineteen, Mitchell will not hear you out if you try to place this songwriter in a box. Being defined is the last thing on Mitchell's mind. Besides playing music it should be noted that Mitchell intends to create pieces of music completely unique in their own the formative way.

"Kids (Ain't All Right)" acts as a political catch-22, especially for the younger generation where literally everyone is eyeing them. What will be their next move and how will this generation fix what past generations have destroyed? Mitchell in a patriotic twist crafted "Kids (Ain't All Right)" as a fitted anthem or nowadays "Kids" could be classified as the defining question of becoming 'woke' in today's standards. Typically every tends to look to Green Day when it comes to political Alternative/Punk/Rock... yet Mitchell deserves some more credit on this front. "Kids" comes from a young point of view, the view in which political upheaval has been at the forefront for the last 15 years. It only seems relevant now because there is far too much in jeopardy.

The Alternative/Punk Rock take with splashes of Pop tends to balance out the overload of reverb. Nevertheless "Kids" performs towards a climax until the testament of truth is clearly understood from Mitchell's viewpoint.

As of recent Mitchell became part of the Coachella lineup this year. With furthering festival lineups Mitchell will automatically be filling up this summer across the United States.
