TRAAMS throws around some noiseful sounds that this ear automatically likes. Maybe it's the subtle Throbbing Gristle or Gang Of Four influence (whether it's there or not that's what I hear) but TRAAMS throw no caution to the wind at all. Thrusting a track such as "Slipping" is exactly why such tracks should be listened to. With a Lo-fi brilliance and attribute to Fuzz infused worthiness.
Out of Chichester and distinctly creating a confusing yet highly enjoyable repetitive beat is exactly what has been missing. By collectively twisting and producing an insistant track, TRAAMS runs against the normal pack. A lone musician playing at the speed of their own drum, all the while flicking the nonsense of comparable and identical songs being played today. Unique and original are not the only reasons to listen to TRAAMS. "Slipping" is also a new form, not replicated and easily addictive. Somehow their seems to be an underneath layer of Pop structure that suits this garage/noise rock pleasantly.
TRAAMS is a chance in the making. Take a number and get in line because "Slipping" is slowly opening up a new frontier and sooner or later TRAAMS will be recognized for the talent instilled upon the world.
