As an writer/composser, I guess that my main goal is to create music that will resonate with the listener; whether it's a 'love song' - falling in/out of love, a comment on something social or reflective on the music scene (past or present) and of course, songs about me.
I have always loved music from an early age, writing my first tune at 8 years old and continuing to write. The song themes have changed over the years, but there is always something new to write about. I try to stay clear of anything political, it's hard these days, but music should be an escape for the day to day and provide listeners with an escape or even bring back some good past memories
It doesn't matter how young or old you are... some songs will stay with you for life and there is always new music to find. Remember, there is no such thing as a bad song... just because you don't like it... we don't all have the same tastes... just appreciate the time and effort that someone has taken to write and record their material... they deserve respect for that.
