The Echo Bureau Perspective on Harder
The Echo Bureau are the official architects of the new synth sound.
In a musical landscape increasingly crowded by digital automation, a new force has emerged to reclaim the dancefloor for human creativity. The Echo Bureau, a transatlantic songwriting duo with a rich history in the UK and American music scenes, is officially bringing their fresh, synth-driven sound to the forefront of the modern pop world.
The Echo Bureau is not just another band; they are a powerhouse collaboration comprised of two seasoned songwriters who have previously crafted tracks for successful solo projects and multiple bands on both sides of the Atlantic. Now, they have combined their expertise to create the "official" sound of a new era—a blend of infectious hooks, danceable beats, and atmospheric synth textures.

'Harder' is a bit more new wave than pure modern synthpop. Fans of New Order, Depeche Mode and Duran Duran might find some appeal in this song by The Echo Bureau.
We'd like to play for YOU, the listener, personally. Face-to-face, ear-to-ear. The opportunity to deliver your favorite song(s) by The Echo Bureau live and in person would be our ideal performance scenario. We're serious. It's that important to us. We write and play these songs for you, the listener.
It doesn't really matter about the 'music industry'. We haven't chosen to do what we do because it's a sound career opportunity. We believe that the music will always find it's listeners, and vice-versa. Back in the day it was a cool friend or maybe a stranger, or a foreign exchange student sharing a mix tape of artist(s) you would never have known of otherwise. This new music might have become part of the soundtrack of your life.
Sharing music is, and has always been the CORE of the art form. The 'music industry' is just the commercialization and current trend of that sharing. Humans are still able to interact and share music directly and THAT is the true core of the music 'business'.
As far as the 'business'...it's not for the artists only. Every one of us listening ought to be 'busy' at sharing the music we love with others.
Tell them WHAT you like, and WHY you like it.
Tell them what it MEANS to you, how it SPEAKS to you.
Tell them how it makes you FEEL when you listen to it.
That's the business.
That will remain when all the rest of it crumbles and falls by the wayside.
YOU are what matters. The art is created for YOU, it's 1-to-1 not 1-to-many (as the 'industry' pushes)
When you find a song that resonates with you, take it in. Hold on to it. Cherish it and give it a home in your heart and mind.
That's easy.
The answer is: The next one.
