“I didn’t wake up one day and decide to become an artist. It happened the night I felt completely alone.
There was a moment in my life when everything felt like it was falling apart — love, trust, direction. I remember sitting by myself, replaying memories in my head, feeling like no one really understood what I was going through. I couldn’t explain my pain to anyone… so I wrote it instead.
That was the first time I realized music wasn’t just something I enjoyed — it was the only place where I could be honest. The only place where I didn’t have to pretend to be strong.
Growing up in Arunachal Pradesh, we’re taught to stay strong, to stay quiet about our struggles. But that night, I chose to turn my silence into sound.
