What do you think is the best think about this song?

Answer:

I love classic 90's RnB. While I feel the world has moved on with musical style, I really wanted to honour 90s RnB style while still staying relevant.

“Lately” is about noticing what’s been right in front of you the whole time. It’s that late-night clarity, connectin comfort, desire, and familiarity as it start to set in and feel like love. Rooted in a classic R&B vibe, the song leans into warmth, vulnerability, and emotional restraint—letting the feeling speak instead of forcing it. It’s a confession whispered rather than shouted.
