Answer:

Plays very well

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

12 yrs old driving my dad to the honkytonks - I have been feeling the vide for along time

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

I started playing guitar about 17 yrs old.. Started doing Open Mics in my 20's

The world and things got in the way and paused a lot of it until 2018 and re-engaged in my songwriting and getting back out since moving to Corpus Christi, TX

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

Plays good in Country and some gospel - mentioning the Power of Jesus in the chrous.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

Country, folky, Gospel...

When I am exsposed to Open mic's with different artist good or bad. I tend to pick up on a few things and intergrate them in my songwriting and playing. That is the best I can describe it

What themes do you explore throughout your music?

Answer:

All sorts of themes but mostly Country and Gospel - songwriting

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?

Answer:

That's a big question. Ella Langley would be a cool thing in how she sings some of her material, Jon Pardi too but I am not at that level. I want to be more of a Songwriter. If something happens by the grace of God, that is all God !

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?

Answer:

Favorite Artist, I have a few. Just depending. All the way to 80's rick to merle Haggard. We all get into different moods and grooves in different times in our lives. I love Rokken with Dokken !

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?

Answer:

I hope someone listens to the lyric and the song and it would make them think about the situation I am singing & story telling them about ! We all want to be better everyday. A song can ignite that wonderful spirit in us

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?

Answer:

Waylon Jennings - I re-fell in love with his music in the last few years. It's one artist I never got to see in person.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?

Answer:

As a songwriter, your newest song is your favorite. Right now, In Any Light

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?

Answer:

Right now asking this question - Dokken, Jon Pardi, Merle Haggard, Waylon - Moods change and the answer will change every day and or moment

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Answer:

I want them to enjoy it and make them, think about it - I like songs that make you think. Help get other things off your mind and sometimes, they are amplified

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?

Answer:

I write and practive often. It's hard rememering my song lyrics becasue I write a few new songs a week or every month. I try to do the best I can with what the good Lord gave me!
